Refund Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

QuickMingles passes are non-refundable. This page explains why, sets out the one situation in which we do refund, and describes the rights you have that this policy cannot take away.

What you are buying

A QuickMingles pass is a one-off purchase of access to interest matching for a fixed period, at the price shown before you pay. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, and you will not be charged again unless you buy again.

Access is granted immediately on payment and begins being used the moment it is granted. There is no free trial to expire and nothing is shipped, downloaded or returned.

Passes are non-refundable

Because a pass is delivered in full and immediately, and is consumed over a fixed window that starts at once, we do not offer refunds — including for change of mind, for buying by mistake, for not using the pass, for being unable to find people you wanted to talk to, for being reported or removed under our Community Rules, or for a camera, microphone or internet connection that did not work at your end.

The free part of QuickMingles is free precisely so that you can satisfy yourself the service works for you before you pay anything. Please use it first.

The one exception: interest matching did not work at all

We refund in full if interest matching did not function at all for the whole life of your pass — that is, you were never once connected to anyone on the basis of the interests or countries you chose, at any point while the pass was active, and this was caused by a fault on our side.

This is a factual claim and we check it. Our server records every match it makes and why it made it, so we can see whether your pass ever produced an interest match. If the records show it never did, we refund you in full without further argument. If the records show it did, we will tell you when, and decline.

Not being matched as often as you hoped, not liking the people you met, or a filter that relaxed to a wider set because nobody matched exactly are not failures of the feature — they are the feature behaving as described on our features page. Waiting times depend on how many other paying people are online, which we publish live before you pay.

Billing errors are not refunds

These are mistakes, and we fix them regardless of the policy above:

If you were charged and simply cannot find your pass, you probably do not need anything refunded — see below.

How to ask

Email support@quickmingles.com within 14 days of the charge, including the transaction ID from your Paddle receipt email, or your Mobile Money reference, and a short description of what happened. We aim to answer within 2 business days.

Because Paddle.com Market Ltd is our Merchant of Record, any refund we approve is issued by Paddle back to your original payment method, and usually reaches you within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You may also contact Paddle directly using the link on your receipt.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback raised without contacting us first may result in your access being withdrawn, and it does not reach us any faster.

Your legal rights

Nothing on this page limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, and where that law gives you a right to a refund, that law wins over this policy.

In particular, if you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By buying a pass and receiving access immediately, you ask us to begin performance at once and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed — which, for a pass, is at the moment access is granted. You confirm this at checkout.

Paddle may also issue a refund at its own discretion under its buyer terms, independently of this policy.

Lost your pass instead of wanting a refund?

You almost certainly do not need a refund. A pass lives in the browser you bought it in, so clearing your data, switching browser or changing device can appear to lose it. Use the recovery code shown to you when you paid — or your payment reference — with “Already paid? Restore my pass” on the home page. Restoring costs nothing and takes seconds.
