Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains what we do with information when you use quickmingles.com. The short version: we ask for as little as possible, we do not record your calls, and there is no account to create.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Sakhile Mamba, trading as QuickMingles, a sole trader of Plot 44, Orange Groove, Tubungu Estates, Matsapha, Eswatini. Contact: support@quickmingles.com.

2. Your video and audio are not recorded by us

Calls use WebRTC, which sends video and audio directly between you and the other person wherever the network allows. We do not record, store or listen to calls.

Please understand what direct connections mean. To connect two people directly, each device learns network addresses (including IP addresses) for the other. This is how peer-to-peer video works everywhere, not something specific to us, but it does mean a technically capable person on the other end may be able to infer your approximate location from your IP address. If that matters to you, do not use this or any other peer-to-peer video service, or use a VPN.

3. The automatic face check

While you are in a chat, software running inside the other person's browser checks whether a face can be detected in the video it is already showing them, and only while that camera is on, and the same happens to them in yours. It is how we enforce the rule that your camera must show you.

Nothing about this reaches us. No image, video or measurement is uploaded, stored or seen by any person — the check happens on the device that is already displaying the picture, and all our server ever receives is a signal that a chat should end. We do not perform face recognition: the software answers only "is a face there", never "whose face is this", and it cannot identify you or tell one person from another.

4. The country shown during a chat

While you are connected, the other person sees a small flag and country name over your video, and you see theirs. It is worked out from your network connection or your browser's language setting — never from anything you type, and never precise: it is a country, not a place.

It is also used to match you, if the other person paid to meet people from a particular country. If your country cannot be worked out, nothing is shown and nothing is claimed.

5. Text chat

Text messages are relayed through our server so they can reach the other person. They are passed straight through in memory and are not written to disk or retained after the chat ends.

6. What we do store

7. What we do not do

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for marketing. We do not require your name, email address or phone number to use the free service.

8. Why we are allowed to process this

We process payment and pass data to perform our contract with you. We process reports and logs for our legitimate interests in keeping the service safe, working and secure, and to comply with legal obligations.

9. Who else is involved

10. How long we keep things

Passes are deleted or allowed to expire after their period ends. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Reports are kept while they are useful for safety enforcement. Logs are kept for a short operational period.

11. Law enforcement

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to prevent serious harm or to investigate a serious crime. Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is reported to the relevant authorities.

12. Children

QuickMingles is strictly for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, tell us at support@quickmingles.com and we will act.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email support@quickmingles.com and we will respond.

Because the free service has no account, we usually hold nothing that identifies you unless you have bought a pass. To find your records we normally need the billing email address or transaction ID from your purchase.

14. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold, including serving the site over HTTPS and keeping pass validation on the server. No internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. International transfers

We are based in Eswatini, and our providers may process information in other countries. Where information is transferred internationally we rely on the protections our providers put in place.

16. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
