Is QuickMingles free?
Yes. Random video chat is completely free and always will be. There is no account, no trial and no card required. The only paid feature is choosing who you meet: a pass lets you filter matches by interest or country.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to install. Open the site in your browser, allow the camera, and tap start. You can add it to your home screen if you would rather it behaved like an app.
Is QuickMingles an alternative to Omegle?
It works the same way. Omegle shut down in November 2023, and QuickMingles fills the same need: one tap connects you to a random stranger by video, and one tap skips to the next person. The differences are that every camera is checked for a face, and you can pay to filter who you are matched with.
Can I choose who I am matched with?
With a pass, yes. You can pick interests you want to talk about and countries you want to meet people from, and you will be matched with someone who overlaps. If nobody fits after a short wait, the filter relaxes step by step so you are never left waiting forever.
What does a pass cost?
A pass costs 5.00 USD for a week and is paid by card or any other method Paddle supports. In Eswatini you can pay 20.00 SZL for the same week using MTN Mobile Money. A pass is not a subscription and does not renew itself.
Is it moderated, and is it safe?
While your camera is on it has to show a face, and that is checked automatically throughout the chat: if a face is not detected the chat ends and the other person is found a new match. Anyone can report the person they are talking to, which ends the chat and logs it. The service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and nudity and harassment are banned.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, on both Android and iPhone, in the browser. It works on laptops and desktops too. All you need is a browser with a camera and a working internet connection.
I paid, but I lost my pass. Can I get it back?
Yes. When you pay we show you a recovery code — save it. A pass is tied to the browser you bought it in, so clearing your data or switching device hides it, and that code brings it back through the restore option on the home page. Your payment reference works too. Restoring is free.
